Rushing
By Laura Zucca-Scott

You are breathing softly
In the early morning
Sparrows just stirring
A train rushing by

I can sense your warmth
Feel you smiling
Watch your dreams unfold
In a steady heartbeat

If I could keep this moment
I would with many moments
Of unspoken grace
Dawn and storm

Not today
Love needs action
Actions need love
Until tomorrow
