Spring
By Rojane Jasper

Spring has come.
The sun it shone.
We turned to each other,
Then our clothes were gone.

Where they went—
I’ll never know,
But love’s sweeter in the sun
Than it is in the snow.

And there we were just
A few moments in,
With nothing to wear,
But a ludicrous grin.

The woes of the day,
Let them all pass.
All I want is you,
In the long, long grass.
