Surviving on Peripheral Love
By Betty Ruth Speir
Finding yourself alone with no recipient for your love
Do not dwell on your aloneness
Nor waste time at pity parties
Seize opportunities for intellectual and emotional intimacy
Fragmented social intercourse is never climactic
Rather, it is sustaining and pleasurable
A fortress against depression and destructive self-pity
Do not dwell on your aloneness
Nor waste time at pity parties
Seize opportunities for intellectual and emotional intimacy
Fragmented social intercourse is never climactic
Rather, it is sustaining and pleasurable
A fortress against depression and destructive self-pity
