It's just poetry, it won't bite

The fox and the moon

The fox and the moon
By Dawnell Harrison

The fox with its
Red pelt and the moon

That never apologizes
For its beauty.

The fox creeps
Through the forest

Searching
In the snowy, moonlit night

For shelter against
The elements.

The powdery snow
Has been falling

Steadily for three days
Or eternity–

I forget sometimes
When the beauty

Is laid out like
A plate of love.
