i tried to embrace the air
as i embraced you
so many times
but the air disappeared
yet surrounded me
like the nothingness of you

Bobbie.Oh.So. Much. pain in so few words. It has the elegance of slient tears. I will read this (and other poems of yours)again and again. Thank you for sharing it.

  2. Heartbreaking, but so good.

What a strange and wonderful poem, Bobbie. I knew someone like this who sucked all the air out of everyone he knew so he could have it all himself. The problem: he was so full of holes it just fell away and became nothing, like him. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Judith says:

  7. Christopher Roe says:

The sadness of loss so eloquently captured. Very nice.
