was curious.
was curious.
You forgot
to close the past
or embrace
the beginning
of our future
so close to us
that a breath
of north wind
had budded
the rose bush
and rain consumed
my initial on the tree.
A good poem! I believe I publish her poetry when I was Editor of New Worlds Unlimited (1974-1988).
