We’ve already discovered that Karen Schindler’s work is very visual (see Coming Home in the poemblog). Here we get to see some of her process: we have the image that inspired the poem! Read and look and find your own undiscovered image hiding in your world to write about. And then take a look at miscellaneousyammering to see what else Karen’s been up to lately.

undiscovered

jeweled
elephant
trunk
and body
hidden
in
sparkling shallow
flowing trickle
many times
spent
dazzled blinking
gazing on
this
sacred space
only yesterday
to giggly glimpse
your
drying face
