Painting Colors
By Ruth Gooley
I paint the colors on my tongue,
mouth alizaron crimson, azo yellow,
voice cerulean blue and burnt umber.
I drip out titanium white,
pronounce sienna and ocher, spit bronze and bubbles,
hiccup on carbazole dioxazine violet.
I roll out venetian red and ruby,
express blizzard blue, state blush and bone,
savor the intense syllables of sight.
very colorful poem, no pun intended, by ruth gooley. love the imagination
of colors and their technical names.
Very nice, captures the strength of sound connected to sight.
