Those who have known loss are not losers;
They are stronger for enduring the pain.
And that strength they will share with the winners,
The ones who have known only gain.
And all those alone are not lonely;
They abide with a memory quite real.
And the solace they find in deep silence
Is more than mere words can reveal.
Great poem. I normally don’t go for poems that rhyme, but this one is very good.
Such a lot of wisdom and so much said in so few words! I absolutely LOVE this write. Profound observations about the human condition. Great piece!
