Bearer of Bad News
By Brianna Katsuda

I understand if
you never let me
borrow your clothes again

Whenever I eat
something I love
I’m as clumsy as a bear

But the noodles
were hand-made
and were so delicious

You could smell
the garlic bread from
across the room

When I saw
the waitress coming
my mouth watered

After the first bite
I didn’t see the stain
on your favorite shirt
