Let’s Call Home
By Charles Clifford Brooks III

Let’s call our home
Spring Kisses,
a structure born from fresh stamens,
pistils, and nodes.

The doorway
is more than a wardrobe
into
some quirky paradise.

No, it is the mouth
that sings
our contentment
every time
it swings
open.
