catching up
By Joanna S Lee
fast lane-ing under a purpled sky south she tells me it’s over, wonders if God will for- give this lack of forever? says she’s dreamed her lawyer as an angel, wings seven foot wide, and will that help when she sits before the Judge? i tell her He and i aren’t square on some accounts, so by rights i’m not the one to ask, though seven foot sounds like a good size to me. oh, she says quiet what’s new with you? and i say, well, i’ve got a cat.
Oh I loved this!
Ah, Joanna, it sounds like friend, listening to friend–perhaps on the way to give solace.
Gentle, against reality.
