Easter Weekend

Something about Easter Weekend
It’s like spring is finally getting here
And we’re at a new beginning
For the umpteenth time.
That’s ok because we’re always
Wishing for good things to happen
Each and every Easter and spring
For instance like world peace.
Or like a father watching his kid
Play ball wishing he’ll be a big leaguer
And like peace, maybe it won’t be
For now there’s always hope.
