The Fabric of Dreams
By Laura Zucca-Scott
If “no man is an island”
Why are we always alone?
What solace can we find
Crushed by indifference
Wounded by silence?
What is left
Of the fabric of dreams?
I see you flying
Crimson head
Bright feathers
Delicate wings
Teasing the sun
Farewell my friend
I miss you already
As I greet my morning
Very touching.
Lovely setting.
