Neon Bracelets and Nonsense
By AJ Huffman

Today I was liquid and desired
to glow and curve myself around my own
wrist. Maybe
it was the unseasonably warm
breeze that molded my mind
to such fanciful flights, or perhaps
the clouds showed me the path to self-
preservation lies within a pallid continuum.
Not that it mattered. My yogaless form failed
magnanimously on all fronts, and I retreated
to my bed, crawled
beneath a beguiling blanket that blended
my broken body back
into something like sanity.
