Peter
By Erren Geraud Kelly

see my shadow and you will be healed
the path i walk is narrow, only for the few
when i am old, hands will lead me where i don’t want to go

i’m one of the master’s twelve men
but our game is played in the sport that matters
see my shadow and you will be healed

i fish for you because you matter
take a bite of bread, savor a part of me
when i am old, hands will take me where i don’t want to go

i’m the best friend you’ll ever have
sturdy as a rock, my fidelity lies
dance in my shadow and you will be healed

i can see the world better upside down
redemption blows through the trees, paradise is near
so see my shadow and you will be healed
when you are old, you will go where you don’t want to go
