Trees at Sunset
By KJ Hannah Greenberg

Along the way, trees,
Such large paper doilies,
Black against the hillside,
In stenciled pride,
Mark double patterns.
Some silhouettes,
Next to life’s blue paper,
Contrast better in dim moments,
Than during entire days’ worth of splendor.
Morning’s league lacks sure perspicuity.
