Walk Like a Man
By Michael Copeland

Stand up men of position and power
arise you of all persuasions.
Speak out against injustice it’s not too
late to regain your civility.

We are far better than the current stream
of failing morality and lies upon lies.
Regain the trust of your hearts
think of generations to come.

In the schemes of right or wrong
follow your conscience to an end.
Think not of self serving rhetoric
or pervasiveness, think of morality.

With proud shoulders thrown back
and a mind full of fairness and love.
With equality and a sense of fairness,
simply smile and walk like a man.
