It's just poetry, it won't bite

Duality

Rae Spencer’s most recent poem to appear here was “Doppler Effect” (June 2015)

Duality
By Rae Spencer

Life is a lit wick
Glowing souls
Dipped in flesh

Bright, warm infinities
Temporarily mortified

Measurable
Particulate

Flickering graces
Casting long shadows
On the wall of history’s cave

Thanks for sharing your magnificent poem, Rae. It truly is profound.
