Easter Bunny’s Truth
By Mark Gooch

What is the true nature of this creature called the Easter Bunny?
Pretty sure those weren’t eggs dropped on the ground,
Working one day, are they government bound?
And they sneak
And they peek
Watching and staring
Like little secret agents
Ears like big ol’ microphones
Recording every sound
Crazy hopping feet
Stealthy ass quiet
And candy for kids?
What the hell?
I would be bribing the guy with the gun
He’s not hunting for fun.
Freeze Rabbit!
Are you robbing the houses and selling the loot
Spit out the truth
Cause we all want to know
Spy or good guy
BBQ or stew?
