Heart Throb
By Michael Copeland
The azure colored sea sky
a distant daytime memory,
with rippled water dancing
and wind blowing lovely fair.
As the ebon eve to the
Westward falls its liquid color,
my pulse quickens to your
approaching sweetness.
The voice that speaks to me
in nightset utters never
words to offend
The God of the Moon.
I pray you pardon my
unheralded love proclamation,
with only the stars to listen.
I bare my lonely heart.
Drifting imagery of one
moment more, underscores
the quality of human passion.
You are the bearer of love.
Beautifully penned!
