Star Crosser
By Charlene James-Duguid

Now passing
Too quickly
The earth’s sphere.

Nearing the moon
With its
Companion star.

I’d like to fly between the two
Separate
Them
For
A
Moment

So when rejoined
They’d know their love again.

    Sigh. Perfect sentiment for Valentine’s
    Day.
