Birth of a Song
By Igor Krajcev

Tremor
Trembled
the darkness,
so silence killed it,
turned it into dust,
tarried,
the dust to
turn into flames.
The flame burns.
The flame
terrifies and from
pandemonium glowing
wormwood is running!
The wormwood fills
the darkness and
the darkness
so filled
thick stories
speak
Then
The darkness again.
Silence fills
the air torn,
and, look, from
tremor unseen,
a song bitter was born…
